I have never been religious. I am spiritual— albeit, respectful of all religion and science.
*Religion reads from scriptures and you follow the codes if you are a devotee. Plain, simple devotion. But following someone else’s truth, isn’t for me.
*Science reads the facts based on hypothesis, experimentation and results. Accurate, but limiting. I am empathic after all— ‘innately’ feeling and sensing.
*Spirituality reads from the universe’s guiding principles—everything is energy, and everything has a divine purpose. Ah. Here we go. A recipe that dialogues with science, and its physical reality but puts me in control of my own destiny. Perfect.
Religion and Science, both suggest that there is one path to follow. Spirituality believes that each of us has our own unique path, in that our realities have the ability to be influenced by our thoughts.
The best part— the universe is always supporting us, whether there’s a willingness to accept its guidance, or not. So, how do we deepen this connection?
One way is through meditation to expand our consciousness, and connect to the universal consciousness, which is unconditionally loving and supporting us. Meditation heightens our awareness to who we truly are. What’s real is intuitively perceived, rather than relying on logic alone. A flow of energy becomes accessible, awakening our powers of intuition and knowing. It’s here that inner peace can be found, and realization of our own truths emerge. These truths are what lead us to our most authentic existence and best lives.
When the flow is open, signs and synchronicities abound, if we actually begin to notice them. If desires aren’t manifesting, then the timing isn’t right, or there’s more work to do. Or, perhaps, it’s not meant for you at all? Be honest with yourself, your soul’s mission doesn’t always align with what you want or expect, but it does provide you with what’s best for your own spiritual growth. Honour it.
Another way to open the flow is to ‘conspire’ with nature. Quite literally ‘conspire’ is to breath together. A very spiritual concept in itself (From com=together, from spirare=to breathe). Play in nature. Walk barefoot. Take in the energies through your breath, while visually and audibly internalizing the greatness at work. Mindfully engage.
Connect— Intuitively understand— Trust in the process. . . and you’ll never question what’s manifesting for you again. Spirituality houses a recipe for obtaining an inner peace that allows for us to live our best life, while walking our own path.
Be happy.
